When we first meet you and your pet, we take plenty of time to examine your dog thoroughly, feel for blockages, and identify protective postures. Therefore, in our experience, this appointment lasts between 60 and 75 minutes. Since we unfortunately cannot ask your dog where it hurts, we will conduct a complete assessment during the appointment, including a detailed medical history, a gait analysis, and a joint assessment. Based on these measures, we can gain a very precise picture of your dog and ultimately create a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs. The first underwater treadmill training session is also included in this session (if applicable). Even if you have already received a diagnosis from your veterinarian, e.g., a cruciate ligament tear, hip dysplasia, etc., it is advisable and necessary to obtain an initial assessment. "The body is a whole," and experience shows that after a short time, protective postures or blockages develop in other parts of the dog's body that are not actually related to the original problem. Without the initial diagnosis, these are often overlooked, and thus only a portion of the problem is treated. We look forward to getting to know you and your dog and supporting you!
