We recommend bringing your dog in for a check-up approximately 1-2 times per year. What does the check-up appointment include? 1. Medical history: We begin with a medical history interview, during which we discuss your concerns and observations, as well as briefly review your dog's medical history. 2. Physical examination: Our specialized therapists perform a thorough physical examination to identify potential problem areas, including posture, movement patterns, and joint function. 3. Treatment (if necessary): Based on the results of the examination, we will determine whether your dog needs treatment. If necessary, we will treat your dog using various physiotherapy techniques such as massage, mobilization, and stretching, or with the help of low-level lasers or other therapeutic devices. 4. Tips and Advice: We will also provide you with some tips and advice to support and maintain your dog's health and well-being at home for as long as possible. Why is a check-up important?
